I just had a good phone conversation with Dr Ilija Srdanović. I congratulated him on the Student List’s election victory in Serbia. The priority now is to establish Parliament and the new government without delay, through a peaceful transition and in full respect of the election results. Serbia’s place is in the European Union. We stand ready to support its European path, with a clear focus on the reforms the Serbian people have called for: the rule of law, the fight against corruption and media freedom.

On je naglasio da je Srbiji mjesto u EU i da su spremni da podrže evropski put Srbije, sa jasnim fokusom na reforme koje je srpski narod tražio - vladavinu prava, borbu protiv korupcije i slobodu medija.
